Pin-Peye Obe Poem by Jon Robinson

Pin-Peye Obe

Rating: 4.5

Gazing amongst the tops of the mountains and you will see,
A beautiful, peaceful landscape that will set you free.
The purest odor of natures untainted air,
Absent from the polluted toxins my lungs can not bare.
Filled with adventure and endless joy,
Guarded by indigenous people who remained to coy.
Once glorified by nature is now industrial dust,
Taken over by man who betrayed all trust.
What was once so beautiful for all to see,
Filled with smoke clouds and no trace of what used to be.
Imagine a world clean and natural for all,
Not a world with sky scrappers 100 feet tall.
Pin-Peye Obe, look up the mountains and you will see,
Precious mother earth is nothing like it used to be.
