"Pinch" Poem by Jeremy May

"Pinch"

A dancer who dances a dance like work is not a dancer who dances to dance. Not a dancer at all. One who goes through life and does not embrace the activity of life is not someone who is alive. You will feel pain. There will be blood. Take the experience of pain and dip it into the blood. Let your emotion through wisdom be the stroke of your brush. Your canvas should never be your heart. Let the world see your work. Pain is a gift.
