Plastic Smile Poem by Rimni chakravarty

Plastic Smile

Often it is taught to smile
Or else you may be term as an unsocial
You may lose your pal
All you need is smile all the while

You may be at pains
Tears may burst into rains
Clouds may hover your sky
Your wings may be clipped for you to fly
Still you smile
All the while
You should not laugh
Nor you cough
When a lump arises at your throat
Just smile as you sit on your boat
Learn the art to give a plastic smile
That is measured
As your rich treasure.
