Pleasant Sleeps, By What Poem by james watkin

Pleasant Sleeps, By What

Pleasant sleeps, by what
For pleasant sounds
Lay them, ryegrass flattened
In cow fattened;

By what rollick of
A tumbling there
Rill-side, now spills music!
To no critic!

Lowly brute, or man
Lower, brutish;
Sedation's tonal reach
Instinctual breach.
