Please don’t mock me today my friend
I’m tired, weary, and cold
I want to sit alone my friend
I'm simply worried of us growing old
Please let me think a while my friend
And dream of what could be
I want to laugh and share with you
Things only we could be
Please believe in me my friend
And trust me till you can’t
I want never to lie to you
But the problem is I can’t
Please wonder about me my friend
When I’ve gone in my disgrace
I want to hope that you did care
When I actually did have a happy face
Please don’t give me any advice
I’ve thought about it to
I want to think id always be
Just between me and you
