You make me so happy
When I'm with you
I forget all about
The mistakes I've made
In the past
You make me feel special
Like I'm everything you
Could ever need or want
Like I'm the only one there
But you're taken so I
Must wait my turn
I hope you aren't lieing to me
Like everyone else has done
In that past
Please don't hurt me
I trust you on instinct
But my mind gets in that way
The more I think
The more it seems like just another lie
Like you're just another of those guys
Please don't be one of them
Please be true
