Please Go Away Poem by Rm. Shanmugam Chettiar

Please Go Away

Rating: 5.0

I thought it would be hard but I’m o.k.
I’m better off without you any way.
You’re a waste of time; I must get rid of you.
I’m sick of you and you’re a prick.
I can do better if you are away-
From my heart and from my thought.
I can do better if you are away,
Sans your presence and appearance.
Haunt me not; torment me not, be away.
I must live in peace; you must leave at once-
From my muse, and from my bones.
You gone out of sight, out of brain,
I could find ways to mend my ways.
I wish I hadn’t met you.
Be it a scar, better than burns.
Let us part, with the loss of the hope.
