The suns fine rays I do encourage but to the clouds I must kindly say,
That instead of blocking out suns light could you kindly clear away?
And to the wind that twirls the trees please be kind to those as you pass,
Instead of blasting past so fiercely could you instead kindly ask?
As for the river that passes threw the meadow could you glide pass like a feather
So that when someone comes to drink
They can drink calmly in this fine weather?
Surely the clouds, the wind and the rain will be listening to your call, because as far as I have read, no poet made such calls. Wonderful!
This is my first poem on this site, or rather the first poem I have ever posted online. I know it is simple but I hope you enjoy reading it. :)
This poem has not been translated into any other language yet.
I would like to translate this poem
Thank you so much, it makes me really happy to hear that you liked it! ^_^ I will be posting another poem soon but it will probably not be as good as this one, even though it could indeed be better still. :)
