Pleasure In Another's Company Poem by james watkin

Pleasure In Another's Company

Pleasure in another's company
Or what, companionable
Is there, in the world, to find
Among animalkind

He, if taking up not the first
As a date-request
Can not escape, as to excuse
Himself taking on
What, staring, through its seduction
In stroking, purrs best!
