Once upon a time,
you were just so fine,
your dreams were pure, your hopes were divine,
your path was never out of line,
everything was perfect in your prime.

Now,
your time has changed,
and life has taken a different bend,
nothing goes well as you always pretend,
the past you were unable to defend,
it feels like it's chasing you in a maze that has no end.

Remember,
when you wouldn't accept anything less than your best,
but now you are just surviving,
living every day like a challenge, a quest,
your whole life has become a test,
you are no longer different than the rest.
That's your story's plot twist.
