Poem For My Daughter Poem by Janine Louw

Poem For My Daughter

Brave little girl
in pain you had to curl
just like a mother bringing a child to this world
crouched down in pain
brave smile still remain
on the beautiful lips
that words of love spits

I just can't imagine
what was said up in heaven
when God had decided
to make our souls and then bind it
from the abyss you saved
a life that had finally caved
in under the burden
of not being God's virgin

Dirt washed in pureness
your coming here bringing all that bliss
that God had intended
for broken hearts He wants mended

Open your eyes and your soul becomes free
walk with your God and grow like a tree
flow like a river
and pierce like a sliver
ring pure like a bell
and be proud when you tell
that where you are from
life is like a song
sung by angels
and there are no dangers
that will harm
or alarm
innocent souls
no destructive goals
cause pureness there
still authority holds.
