Poem No: 40. One Day Every One Will Depart This Earth

Rating: 5.0

One day every one will depart this earth
With Nature's mighty laws and Time's quick growth.
We all have come to this beautiful earth
To perform our roles with sorrow and mirth.

Do not regret for Time's activity.
He'll take away our wealth gradually.
Youth will lose his strength and power one day.
The maidens' rosy lips will fade away.

Time will boast and tactfully kidnap you
But fail to snatch your talent and virtue.
He will devour you like a hungry giant
But never touch your work and achievement.

You can immortalize you and your name
With your effort and work, virtue and fame.
