When I do remember my childhood days,
The waves of sweet memory dance in joy.
With the fondness and love of my parents
In the lap of nature, those days I spent.
The Cuckoo's sweet song would charm me in Spring
And I'd try to imitate it and sing.
I would dance in the showers in Summer
And love to sit by the fire in Winter.
Every afternoon I'd play with my mates
And enjoy the loveliness of sun set.
Everyone used to appreciate me
When I'd recite the rhymes beautifully.
So long ago I passed my childhood days
But from my mind they will ne'er go away.
