Poem No: 99. The Night Is Adorned With Silver Moon Light Poem by Dipankar Sadhukhan

Poem No: 99. The Night Is Adorned With Silver Moon Light

Rating: 5.0

The night is adorned with silver moon light.
The moon peers through my casement at mid night.
Dreams are flashing into my sleepless mind.
My heart cries for you like stormy wind.

The night is singing and drinking sweet wine
And wind is soaked with the smell of Jasmine
But my eyes are filled with the shine of sorrow
My dry lips are crying like a lone crow.

The moon is so happy to find the sea
And they kiss each other passionately
But my heart and mind spend a sleepless night.
Nothing but your Love can make them so bright.

Every time my heart longs for your nearness.
Without your Love my life seems meaningless.
