None except you can understand
how poets hanker
for recognition
but some just praise
to be read
give 10 points to all
such is a danger

kindly note
a poet can make
no progress


A famous poet was being nominated for a Nobel
(I gather)

He asked
why doyou want to my potential limit
let me share more of my mind
with all

I can never reach above the level
if you give me a NOBEL
So, I feel so happy
thousands read me daily
I bask in anonymity

Glad I am not a celebrity
they cinder in isolation
when the producers and publishers
have done ‘em in

I don't want to face
such an eventuality
your poetry undoubtedly is Lovely
so, let it be
