Poemhunter's Bob Poem by Francis Duggan

Poemhunter's Bob

If you underestimate him you've got it wrong
A natural poet he has the gift of song
He is bound for greater things or so it would seem
Poemhunter's own Bob is a wordsmith supreme
Though anyone can practice the wordsmith trade
'Tis true enough poets are born not made
Though perhaps he is beyond his writing prime
He still has it in him to pen marvellous rhyme
He rhymes without effort and that's a great skill
And do not say of him he is over the hill
To the old school of poetry he surely belong
The poesy inspiration in him remains strong
The praises of Poemhumter's Bob we should sing
With his words to many great joy he does bring.
