I have written poetry
since I was nine years old
and still I find that I must write
as others seek for gold.
And though I find no nuggets
amongst the things I write
still sometimes there's a sparkle
that gives me some delight.
I know what you mean, I write simply for the desire to clean myself, I'm not a good writer, or a professional by any means, but once in awhile I can write something halfway decent. Its not about finding gold but the search.
This poem has not been translated into any other language yet.
I would like to translate this poem
still sometimes there's a sparkle that gives me some delight. exactly that is the nature of a poetic mind. you have written it very well dear poet. thank you. tony
