*poets Stay Home - Poem by Lillian Susan Thomas

Poetry reading was canceled tonight.
So poets stay at home to write;
Snowflakes drift down in clumps of white.
Sticking to where ever they land
Slicking roads sifted with sand
Disrupting traffic and events that were planned
Where snow falls less than hurricanes land
