Poison, It’s Not So Wicked Poem by Kellyn, A Grau

Poison, It’s Not So Wicked

Any where but here
Where the shadows whisper across my mind
They speak of things so twisted
It sends shivers up my heart

Yet something in the back of my mind
Seems to be intrigued by their poison
Just one touch and I’ll be fine
Some times change is meant to be
So is this really what’s meant for me

They whisper of the darkness
That entraps my hearts core
That even though it seems hopeless
Never to look back
Just go with the flow of thing
And disregard the repercussions

So with a whisper and a breath
I stand tall against the sand of time
I know I’ll be alright
And with the fear engulfing me
I’ll eliminate the pain and set myself free

So it appears not ever dark thing
Has a tendency to be evil
Perhaps perception is everything
And you can take the message as you chose
But mines not of sadness and lust
But of change and newly acquired trust
The beginning of a new area
