Police - No Parades Or Banners Poem by Paul Warren

Police - No Parades Or Banners

There are no bands playing
Or banners on the breeze flying
There are no cheering crowds proudly waving
For us there is police duty everlasting
With no grateful nation
And no parades for us in exultation
