Police - Summer Patrol In Elizabeth Fields Poem by Paul Warren

Police - Summer Patrol In Elizabeth Fields

A hot sunny and dusty day
Public housing each side in disarray
Old cars in the front yards
The houses with old lounge suites scarred

The sun is starting now to set
As children emerge dirty and undead yet
The promise of Australia lost
With these children's eyes showing the cost.
