Police - Trilogy 1 - Walk Up And Shoot Poem by Paul Warren

What does it take
To walk up to a person to make
A murder for someone leaving for home
And now is shot dead and forever gone

Do you have to psych yourself to get by
And not be able to say to your family goodbye
Do you wait for someone who is an easy target
And kill him so that his death will for you mark it

So get a gun and don't think too much about it
Wait off until you see someone to target
Then walk up to them and end their life sweet
Then be shot down like a dog in the street
