Politic Today

We listen carefully
To the promises made
Then one by one
We observe if anything
Has actually been done
And frequently, too frequently
Promises made are broken
And the opposite is done
To what was spoken
So it goes, on and on
The system is clearly broken
And people's trust in politicians
Is past and gone.
