Politics Never Had Solutions Poem by Cynthia Buhain-baello

Politics Never Had Solutions

Politics never had solutions
Its pedestal is too high to view
The people down there in confusion
Its greedy claws is not something new.

A people so inclined to look for aid
From those that just feed on their own,
Will find in time that it is they who paid
With their labor, fruits they have not sown.

Poverty is a curse and a disease,
But it is conquered when one takes a stand
To work and strive, in independence cease
To depend on others, by working with our hands.

Around us nature flowers to provide
The things we can work on and create.
With faith in God that He will be our Guide
We can change our lives and redesign our Fate.

'Make it your ambition to lead a quiet life,
to mind your own business and to work
with your hands, so that your daily life will win
the respect of others and so that you will not
depend on anybody.'

1 Thessalonians 4: 11
