Politics Recycles Themes Wars Poem by Terence George Craddock

Politics Recycles Themes Wars

Rating: 5.0

politics recycles themes
moving on to differing wars
in plot differing locations

always sowing suffering injuries death destruction
in media justified redistribution of wealth resources
in target foreign countries deleting peaceful lives;

but lovely line pockets
in hush sealed bank accounts
in corporate portfolios

of shadow puppet masters
pulling strings of world politics
map by map amassing blood profits

please hear peace prophet peace voices
People like John Lennon, Martin Luther King
who risk their death to dream and imagine

a better world of peace
decency and human rights
tend to end up very dead;

perhaps because killer profits
are fast reaped not from peace
but divide and conquer wars?

Kill imprison peace makers
is an old political policy
readily recycled as needed

but less often now
due to an increasingly
justified arrest protesters

global policy;

funny how division protests
new tax climate change protests
as part of distraction promoted

political agenda
are sweet sweet funded
and encouraged

it is still a secret sow wars
strange strange inhumane world
we live in promoting wars

target wars in foreign countries delete peaceful lives;

lead politicians media continue to shamelessly
sow dark seeds pimp promote profit dirty wars
blessed peacemakers are not buying enlightened

peacemakers proudly protest civilian slaying wars
