Bright red
And beautiful
A delicious fruit
From heaven
Mentioned in the holy books
Its fabulous creation
With ruby-like beauty
Within the layers
Appear as honeycomb
Nature's jewels
These sweet juicy little seeds
Spurt zest
Into our mouths
A food for longevity
Full of fiber, antioxidants
And vitamins
Healing mankind
For ages

irfanulla, i can understand why you'd celebrate pomegranates. i myself have been enamored with their insides—each like a tightly-packed chest of liquid rubies. -glen
