Pondering
If you knew what it was
That you were looking for
You would have heard the buzz
As you started to excitedly explore
If you knew what it was
That would give you lasting pleasure
You might have stopped to pause
And found that hidden treasure
When time has nearly passed you by
You stop to survey and evaluate
Realizing the elixir of life is running dry…
You reach for a dose of bicarbonate
