Porous Nights Poem by Me.S Dey

Porous Nights

Porous nights often disillusion us.
Vibes keep coming up through words.
Heart-poured love gets a respite.
Unwinding yourself; you laugh and cry.
Soothing tunes enter your heart -
Reminding you the days of togetherness.
Days of undying love with someone far.
Disgruntled present backseats when past beckons.

Missing him you cry a while.
Remembering him you laugh a while.

A friend caring offers a shoulder.
Reposing yourself you yearn to relax.
Fire ignites. Love is made when love itself cries.
Scouring for love you fail to climax.
His face surfaces at your heart.
Splitting your heart it dissects you.
Undetermined, unsettled you long to reach the shore.
A dejected shore goes away from you.
A friend loving turns into a beast.
Defying love touches the deepest niche.
You keep on downing and drowning in him.
And a friend sighs for a lover.........

'Love is made when love itself cries.' This is a great line! You have really tapped in to human needs and emotions.
