Portrait Comments

I like how this poem reads with “dappled all over/ Like puddles of cuddled blood/” the best lines. With all the colors there is a lot of appeal to the senses. The word, “lurid” and “erotic” stand out for me. A nice change of pace with the quotation. Well done.
