Portrait Of Day, In Change Of Weather Poem by james watkin

Portrait Of Day, In Change Of Weather

An impressionist work, and in it
Is that all but guessed of artist
Of admissions trite!
Placing in sequence, as we do
With those of a kinder review.

Over its promise of genius
Of each illuminating trick
Of the brush of light
As o'er the first man, is there heard
Disaffection's grumbling "I erred".
