Poses, Imposes! Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

Poses, Imposes!

Poses, imposes!
Taxes,
In the land;
With power and authority.

State, astate!
Paste,
Not to waste;
Haste! !
Openly;
With the muse of the youth.

Poses, imposes!
With the muse of the youth in the land;
Power and authority from the Government,
Training them to be honest with each other.

The muse of life,
The romance of love,
The aroma of nature,
The rules of creation!
Living in the land,
With power and authority;
Facing the ways of the youth.

Works and deeds,
To heed to the laws;
With the seeds of the truth!
Power and authority,
In the land,
Poses, imposes!
Able to train the youth with righteous laws.
