Possession (1994)

Like a match lit in a dark room,
she appeared in my life.
Opening a part of my soul
which now is in control.
Circumstance has introduced us,
and fate is now in question.
And with the walls down,
and my defenses lowered,
I feel like a child,
looking at life,
as if for the first time.
And with this youth
comes a scared feeling.
I am afraid to say or do,
for the risk that she'll walk away
and leave my world.
For she is in position
to destroy my mind or take my soul.
In which there is no doubt,
I would offer freely
