Potpourri Babycakes Poem by Kurt Philip Behm

Potpourri Babycakes

The mish now buried in the mash,
the dog caught rooting through the trash

With litter scattered far and wide,
the pieces gather, the Cheshire hides

All lollygaggers out in front,
those last now first, a noble stunt

The blend what's vital, layers bake,
Choo Choo Mamma—Potpourri Babycakes

Just so cool! Love the verse and the movement of the writing. The first couplet got my attention...for the very real reason that I have a puppy and a dog...who love to open my trash can. The line the Cheshire hides....gets my attention of course....made me think of a certain president with orangish hair... The next line...lollygagger out in front..the last now first....could also make me think of certain political phenomena...Then of course the last couplet...a reminder. Of course, this could all be in my head, since you said your poem is about nothing...like a poetic Rorshach? Well done Kurt. I enjoyed.
