Powderking Poem by Rob Knetsch

Powderking

he was the most wealthy
the most generous man
but also the most greedy man
he was both the kindest man
and the most evil man

everybody knew him
or knew of him, this man
he was loved and hated
as they all called him
the powderking

even when they found him
dressed in his most regal
lying dead on the floor
in an unlit and dusty corner
choked on his own crown
