Promenade Poem by Rob Knetsch

Promenade

strolling along
the couples
the singles
the lost

bodies move
step by step
with soundwaves
of worn pavement

paved footprints
stepping onward
away from the origin
the starters mark

eyes meet
the trees
the sea
the sunset
