Powerful Mojo And Deep Voodoo Too Poem by JAMES T. ADAIR

Powerful Mojo And Deep Voodoo Too

My what you can do with words
You have a talent it is true
What expressiveness
To capture a feeling
that's a marvelous thing to be able to do
But what good will come of it
if what you say is false
and none of it it true?
That's a question that must be answered
by the poet who resides inside of you
Be careful in what view you spew
Is it meaningful or just foo
Will it win her heart
or break it in two
Will it change an opinion
open up some new avenue
shake things up
break things down
or bind them together like glue
Remember there is some power
in the craft you've developed in you
like powerful mojo and deep voodoo too
It's scary what a few chosen words can do
