Pray For Her - Poem by Frankie Renae

I know no one took the time to bless you with the life of an angel
And there are days, in (giving up) , you fall on your knees
Just try to let go
Good-bye to what you know
It's all gonna be okay, torn darlin'
My fallin' friend, here and now, I promise you someday

Someday is a gift that still holds everything in its hands, far away
It stands painless and whole, so free from violation
And I know you became another grown baby
But providence is blind to pasts built on maybe
Each day you stand, breathe, or lie awake
I'll demand the end of seethe and pray you grace's sake

Chorus (breaking down)

He knows you deserve no single thing less than the innocence you lost
Forgivable sins, for you can help not what you do
Unholy deeds abandoned you, left alone
Though they're blameless too, if not for them, you might have known
Forgive the errs that left you betrayed
Drift away and live in the providence and somedays

harmonic choruses, alternating (...)
…providence and somedays
