Rockstar 1729 - Poem by Frankie Renae

sorry I couldn't help using you for inspiration
this cancellation I'm hoping on your falling down
it's killing me, seeing you this way
smile is gone and there's nothing I can say
to let you know she walked all over you

Chorus:
uh'a'I can't forgive her
can't forgive me
for not being able to help you
when you fall down
all the old tricks I called out
won't pull ya back here
don't mean a thing
there's nothing I can bring to the ta'le
you hurt, I fail

that's not crying, just feeling your pain
too hard to see a guy break the way you do
remind me and I know this ain't the same
wallow in your anger and emotion disdain
shaking so hard and she's the one to blame

chorus

because the calls and cause and words and jokes, the way it goes
I know you do know, but you're stuck, and it's more reason
to hate her walking in, shove your face
it's really not my place to punch her face
but I did in my mind when you told me

chorus x2

uh.a'I can't forgive her
can't forgive me
can't forgive her
can't forgive me
for not being able to help
when you fall down
all the old tricks
don't mean a thing
there's nothing I can bring
you hurt, I fail
and I can't forgive her
you hurt, I fail
but you already did
you hurt, I fail
such a good and friend
don't mean a thing
