Prayed For Her Happiness Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Prayed For Her Happiness

Rating: 2.8

It makes me sleepless
Her face suddenly rushes
To appear before my vision
I remain perturbed with confusion

“What was my fault” do you listen
Such words echo mind often
I become restless and wonder
How was she a good listener?

She did not utter a word
Waited for me to speak and be heard
It was her style of total surrender
Never acted of her own as an offender

I felt bad when she took decision
My word had made her to act with precision
She had sensed my betrayal
I had spoken about fact orally

She is married and shifted
As if gone away after air lifted
Not seen for many years
And now all of sudden some whispers

Why did you do all this?
I was through out your miss
I heard her honest speech
I felt like weeping on beach

She must be thinking
About our dreams and liking
I slipped into past memory
Prayed for her happiness and felt sorry
