Prayers Poem by Brian Taylor

Prayers

Everyday we pray for a better day.

Everyday we pray we see the sunshine.

Everyday we pray to live another day.

Everyday we say that we believe in our faith.

Everyday black on black crime is the case.

Everyday soldiers have wars that they are fighting and they have to face.

Everyday black kings and queens are looked at as the natural race.

Everyday black kings and queens are looked as the aboriginal race.

Everyday before we sleep we say our prayers and pray.
