Prays Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Prays

Prays

Sun bright as it must
Horizon is endless
And in air particles
And she walks
Clay vase on shoulder
His hands up
He prays:
"God water…little rain…"
Nothing there
Even God that they know is somewhere.

Shy, afraid, Sun is barred
Thick curtains of cloud
Dance trance, very wild
She cleans off flood and cries
His hands up
He prays:
"God some sun…little warmth…"
Nothing there
Even God that they know is
