Prelude To A Kiss Poem by Shalyn Stachmus

Prelude To A Kiss

Rating: 5.0

I'm sorry I left you to sulk in the moonlight.
I hope that you'll let me hold you tonight.
Now pull me closer to your breath,
And kiss me ‘til we've conquered death.
So maybe you'll let me sleep in your mind.
And maybe, just maybe, you could be mine.
Tonight.
I'm choking, please hold me. Don't ever let go...
I finally know what it means to be 'so close.'
I'm sorry I left you to go soak in the fog.
It's dark, yes, and weary, but what a fantastic fall.
Tonight.
