Preparing The Damage Poem by Tor Magnor Solvang

Preparing The Damage

Dust and rubble, where we tried to stand,
Our own proud plans, on a shaky land.
We sweep the mess, the pieces fall,
From trying to run and have it all.

If strength runs out, and will feels gone,
We ask, and wait, until next dawn.
For that first promise, clear and true,
We'd fight for freedom, both me and you.

No matter what, the cost, the fight,
To win this battle, find the light.
