Pretence Makes My Day

Rating: 5.0

The unparalleled blissful part of my day is Dawn!
Open my eyes, and see you beside me!
Close my eyes again, feigning to sleep,
I know you are going to kiss on my closed eyes,
To notify - it's morning!

Birds chattering, sunlight peeping through the blinds,
But I, as mischievous as I am,
Pretend not to hear you,
Pretend to fall back in deeper slumber!
Just to have that kiss one more time!

Without you, what is my life?
Barren, like living in a palace in a desert!
