Pretend
I shall not pretend i know much
About the origin of life as such
Nor pretend i know why the sun rises in the east
Why for survival it's required by every beast
I shall not pretend i know why i love you
You have your family, its true
You have your life, it's full
You have your vows, renewed
What i do know is that i do love you
Even as you say you can't love me too
You have to understand
I cannot pretend
