Pride, As A Worldly Virtue Poem by james watkin

Pride, As A Worldly Virtue

Pride, as a worldly virtue
Shouting down, with a din
Even thought, to the calm skies
Religious inclining
Stands it, a city. To crush
By what on them does lean
Those modest aspirations of
Not wanting to be seen.
