Pride Fills The Empty Heads Poem by Rajendran Muthiah

Pride Fills The Empty Heads

Out are the tantalising smiles from your mouth
Which are stored in wiles in your mental cache.
You care not for the rumours or hammerings.
You care not for the dolours you cause in me.

You care not for the explosions you make.
Love is just a gambling for you, but for me
it is full of emotions overflowing my heart.
The hurt you made can't be healed by any cure.

My casual words ignite your anger
but your short replies had given me deadly strikes.
Time alone could unite us or divide us.
What we can do, mortals with frailties?

Pride goeth before the fall of great men of this earth.
In your life, it will bid bye even if you lose your mirth.
