Prison Houses Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Prison Houses

Rating: 4.0

Prison houses

This my world
and everything has been told
I know what shall cost an attempt?
If outside world is sought

I am with same people
Who doesn't want to struggle?
Lead the life with same principles
And stay indoor with no stubborn call

Where do you show freedom fruits?
When it does not suit
To the very people who claim with tall voices
But drag the feet from promises made

So it is better
To remain interior
With no active involvement
And life totally inactive at present

If I can't act of my own
Let the world remain unknown
If they too are involved with raising prison houses
I shall love to remain as prisoner with all misses
