Programmers Poem by Achim Wollscheid

Programmers

You are not aware of another environment
Because of your programming.
How is it possible to discover yourself
When you've been programmed as something else?
The white robed programmers tell you to
Forget for a while that this is this
And that life is large.
You listen when they tell you to concentrate
Because they say they hold your future's fate.
They tell you that the clock never hits its end.
It never occurred to you to question them.
It's no wonder you find yourself unsure,
Always thinking of things differently then they said.
It is in your nature to discover who you are
And break away from what you are not.
There is nothing really holding you back
Except the very thought of rejection
Which should succumb to truth.
Strip off your white robe that holds the past
And wear what your heart chooses.
