~project Monarch~ Poem by E Nigma

~project Monarch~

Here's a remote control to your destination
It's Mind Control, It's Mind Control
You'll open up your soul to the mode infection
It's Mind Control, it's Mass Hypnosis

Hypnotized by the lines that your about to follow
It's Mind Control, You'll lose control
Commit a Crime Today that You'll Forget Tomorrow
It's Mind Control, You've lost control

Your minds a living sponge into which the images are swallowed
When it moves beneath your skin you know your heart is soon to follow
As you receive the frequencies of another's imagination
Your feelings swayed by the words relayed, a revelation

In a zombified trance the images dance within your mind
No more a look or glance but bound by sound & sights
No longer the crystal ball by the medium that sees it
The T.V tells a vision for the future you'll believe in

The sensations that are felt by the Fear that you fed it
In the shadows you've crept but your soon to Regret it
The lessons learned in the book that you've closed
Removes the clothes from your Lust, done as your told

You're a slave within your sin within your skin bound to slaughter
Depraved and wearing thin, right before yours sons & daughters
Your heart beats to the tick tock of the clock that is ticking
While death waits for the time bomb Shame wired while sleeping

Mind Control, It's Mind Control
It's Mind Control, Manipulation
Mind Control, It's Mind Control
Subliminal, It's My Control...

COMMENTS OF THE POEM

Under the category of what is the subject of this poem, you wrote Thinking. That's a very broad field of endeavor, because, as Hamlet says, THERE'S NOTHING GOOD OR BAD BUT THINKING MAKES IT SO. And Hamlet knows this because he has read Montaigne just like Shakespeare did. But Hamlet doesn't give us crucial info: Does he mean MORAL good and evil? Or is he commenting on the daily interplay of positives and negatives, with no moral complications? So it's either a really BIG STATEMENT, or just a minor point. Such is the word THINKING here. It's either a really big topic, or a minor one. I don't intend to respond on this issue, at least not yet. I just cite it as a sign of the slippery quality of words.
